Privacy & company details

Browsing this website

The website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. Fonts and images are served locally. Your chosen light or dark appearance is saved in your browser so it stays consistent between visits. Your language choice is reflected in the page URL, without a preference cookie.

The hosting provider processes connection information such as your IP address and requested page. Its identity, security logging and retention arrangements will be confirmed before public launch.

Optional Google Maps

The contact page loads a Google Maps embed only when you select “Load Google map”. Loading it allows Google to receive your IP address and other connection information and may involve cookies and processing outside the European Economic Area. Your choice provides consent to load this third-party content. You can remove the embed with “Hide map”; this stops further map loading but does not undo data already received or remove cookies Google may have set. Manage those cookies in your browser. The map choice is not saved between page visits.

Opening the separate Google Maps link takes you to Google’s website, where its privacy terms apply.

Email enquiries

The enquiry builder creates a draft in browser memory. It does not submit the fields to our server or store a draft in browser storage. Preparing the enquiry passes your text and contact details to your email app. You choose whether to send it.

If you email us, we use your contact details, message and attachments to answer your enquiry and discuss a possible purchase. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering general business correspondence.

Service providers and retention

Our email address uses Google’s Gmail service, which may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. The applicable account terms, transfer safeguards and hosting arrangements must be confirmed before launch.

We keep enquiries only as long as needed for the conversation and any resulting business relationship. Transaction records may be subject to legal retention duties. Specific retention periods will be confirmed before launch.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact Linus d.o.o. at the email address above. You can complain to your local data-protection authority; in Croatia this is AZOP.

The website shows representative images of wood and its preparation, not a catalogue of current stock. Contact us for photographs of available wood.
